Dear Sir,

With due respect and humility and from my sick bed, I write you this letter with the belief that you would be very much obliged to assist us.

Since we have no place or person to turn to for assistance, I feel it is very necessary to bring to your notice, the problem we are going through now, I am very optimistic that you owe a moral
obligation to look into our plight and come to our rescue, thus my writing to you.

I am MRS. AGNES SANKOH, the Wife of the late DR.FREDRICK SANKOH of the blessed memory. Prior to my Husband's assassination by the Rebel forces loyal to Major John Paul Koromah, he was the Director General, National Gold and Diamond Mining Corporation in Sierra Leone.

Two days before my husband was assasinated, he instructed me and my children (Mr. Aike Sankoh, aged 24yrs and Evelyn Sankoh, aged 18yrs) to move out of Sierra Leone immediately before the powerful Ecowas Mobilization Group (ECOMOG) forces intervened which
eventually resulted into a brutal Civil war that lasted many years. My children and I managed to escape to Cotonou, Capital of Republic of Benin through the help of one of my husband's friends
with some documents given to me by my late husband and one of documents was the CONTRACT AGREEMENT / CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT issued to him by a Security Company, when he deposited a box containing some valuables including a cash sum of $17m
(SEVENTEEN MILLION UNITED STATES DOLLARS ONLY) in a trunk box with my name and that of my son as beneficiaries, this was his last trip outside Sierra Leone before he was killed.

For your information, my husband did not disclose the real contents of the box to the Security Company and we do not wish them to know this either under any circumstances. Rather, the Certificate of Deposit states that the box contains family valuables.

Meanwhile, I want to leave Republic of Benin entirely to take care of my ailing health and with your assistance get this money retrieved from the Security Company and put it for investments in
your Country because of the unstable political situation in my Country and here in Republic of Benin, and mostly for the future of my children.

I want you to please assist us in claiming this box from the Security Company and get the funds to your Country. You should also source for good investments opportunity so that we can invest wisely in your Country when the funds finally arrives your Country (though the Security Company has an affilated office in Italy and spain ) they would assist you in the movement of the consignment (box) to your Country without knowing the actual contents.

We have in mind to reward you handsomely for your assistance with at least 20% of the total sum. If there should be any incidental expenses on your side, an amount not exceeding 5%would be given to you as an additional reward.Please as soon as I hear from you, I will forward

(1). A copy of the Certificate of Deposit and the contract agreement, I would also send a letter of introduction to the Security Company intoducing you as the our TRUSTEE. These would enable you to proceed in earnest towards retrieving the box and transferring of the funds to your
Country. There is no risk in this transaction since we are the bonafide owners of the valuables and I am known by the Security Company as the wife of the late man and at the same time one of the beneficaries of the box.

Please ensure that no one else knows about this money, it is only myself, my son and you that knows about it, I would also appreciate it if you can forward your private telephone and fax numbers to me for easy communication.
